The trapSIM Rat model has been especially designed for this particular rodent.
It can be can be safely installed inside and outside buildings.
The dual-entry tunnel, doubles the opportunities for a successful catch. It is inclined in such a way, that the rodent does not see the trap, until it’s caught.
The trap is electronically armed and ready to be used, just by pulling the snap trap.
When a rodent is caught, trapSIM device is sending immediately a “successful catch” alert message to the web based trapSIM portal, via the cellular based IOT (Internet of Things).
When the snap trap closes accidentally, by for instance kicking accidentally into it, a “false catch” message is sent.
A “low battery status” warning is sent when the long term battery needs to be replaced.
Weekly, an “all clear” message is sent automatically to the server ; in the event that there is an ongoing issue with the trap, such as accidently destroyed by a forklift, or rearming the snap trap after a catch, will trigger the sending of an alert to the user, via e-mail and/or texting message.
